I can’t say enough great things about Sam and Don, who worked very hard, creatively and carefully to move our piano — dealing with a large hill on one side of the move and then a curved long stairway at the other side of the move. John did a excellent job picking up two pianos for me. one in Pensacola FL and the second one in Daphne AL. He had temp help at both locations and was very patient and calm with instructions and got the job done with professionalism and courtesy. Modern Piano moved our piano from Austin TX to Columbus OH. The process of getting the move arranged was relatively simple. We had a firm estimate of the move within a day and their staff kept in touch with us about when the piano would be picked up and delivered. The delivery crew was polite and efficient. Watching them made me feel old and tired, but they completed the delivery in about 15 minutes. It was a very impressive operation.

Modern Piano was very responsive and kept us informed on when they would arrive to pack up the piano and when it would be delivered at its final location.

The first half of the piano move was awesome. My piano was taken to their short term storage in Missouri for 4 months. At the agreed to time they notified me of a shipment window to complete the move to my home in Ohio. Again they were punctual, courteous, and highly skilled. Jared and Zac arrived at the stated time, unloaded the pieces, unwrapped and assembled them in just one hour. They were absolutely amazing. They were patient in location the piano exactly where I wanted it to be. My piano was delivered in the same condition as when they picked it up. It won’t even need tuning for a few months. I can’t praise them enough! My piano is a Kawai 5’10” Grand. Would highly recommend Modern Piano Moving to anyone needing to move a fine piano, and the total price was extremely reasonable.

Modern Piano Moving is a wonderful company that you can trust! They originally packed my Baby Grand Piano in Colorado, and delivered it to a climate controlled storage in California while our house was being built in California. Piano was picked up and delivered to us last week in our new home in California. When our piano was originally picked up in Colorado in February of this year, it was taken completely apart and every piece was wrapped with padded blankets then rolled out to their truck. When the piano was delivered to us in California, all the pieces were upwrapped and put together. The piano is perfect. So happy to get it back in perfect condition.

I am very please with the staff at Modern Piano. My mother recently moved from St. Louis to Texas and requested her piano come with as it is a very special piano that my now deceased father purchased for her several years ago. From Misty to the loaders who picked up the piano to Jerald who delivered it to her new residence was a professional experience. I wouldn’t use any other company to move a piano. It’s essentially furniture that is expensive and very easily could be damaged. Indivduals with zero experience of dealing with pianao’s should not try to save a few $ and move themselves.
